When I was first getting my feet wet with design, a friend approached me about an up-and-coming YouTube channel that her and her husband were working on. They wanted to focus on “barbecue and the science behind it,” and they needed a logo. I agreed to do it. Fast forward to now, and they were ready for a brand refresh. Lucky for me, they entrusted me to tackle the re-brand of my original design.

This project was really fun. First of all, Jeremy & Erica of Mad Scientist BBQ are an absolute dream to work with. But it was also so cool to see how I’ve progressed as a designer. There is always more to learn, but I’d call this a major improvement! I was also able to put the logo into motion for them - another really fun challenge! We even created some on-brand custom transitions for use in their videos - check it out in the sample below!
