But why me?

I have five years of motion design experience and a decade in the production industry. But beyond that, I pride myself on being an excellent communicator and, more importantly, a captive listener. I want to bring life to YOUR vision. And in order to do that, I like to set clear expectations and timelines. I love being creative, but I also love being organized – and I believe it takes a balance of the two to unlock the potential of your ideas. These are the qualities that I think set me apart, but don’t just take my word for it…

More About the Team

Kaitlyn Kirk

Hey y’all! I’m Kaitlyn Kirk, the face behind Kaitlyn Kirk Design (duh, right?). I’m a creative specializing in motion and design based out of Lexington, Kentucky. I started Kaitlyn Kirk Design because I love the process of creating something from nothing – like literally, you start with an actual blank slate. While I often work alone, I also have a talented network of creatives that I call in for reinforcements when needed (videography, video editing, 3D modeling, web design, photography, etc.). When I'm not working, you’ll most likely find me chasing around my one-year old little girl. But I also enjoy gardening, reading, drinking wine, and hanging out with my husband and dog.

Lava Kirk

Lava is either my Chief of Sass or Chief of Snuggles - depending upon her mood. When she's not diligently guarding the office from chipmunks, she’s probably sleeping on the job. Fun fact: She is named after a Pixar short. Specifically, the one where the volcanoes fall in love and sing “I Lava You” (I know… cute, right?).

(And yes, I did refer to us above as “the team” strictly because I wanted to put my dog on my website… what of it?)
