Big Blue Madness 2019 was a blast, and we had the incredible opportunity of creating various elements for this year’s show.

MADNESS OPENER

This video was played at the very beginning of the event to kickoff the evening. The lightning strike at the beginning was timed with a basketball slam from the ESPN host.

MEN’S BASKETBALL OPENER

This video was projected before the eagerly anticipated portion of the night began - the introduction of the 2019-2020 men’s basketball team. The goal was to show off the capabilities of projection by interacting with elements of the court, while also building hype & energy in the arena.

HEADSHOTS

These videos were projected onto the floor as the players were being introduced for both the men’s and women’s basketball teams. Parts of the videos will appear to be upside down when viewing on a regular monitor, but this was to aid viewing of everyone in the arena when they were projected onto the horizontal court.

COACH MITCHELL RIBBON BOARDS

As usual, Coach Mitchell pulled out all the stops for his 2019 introduction - this year going with a Western theme. To help set the scene, we created various ribbon board elements. We’d be lying if we said we didn’t have a littttle too much fun making these!!

As seen below, the ribbon board content was displayed in various sizes all throughout the arena.
